We warmly invite you to join us for a peaceful and enriching day out designed specifically for people living with dementia and their carers. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Hattah Lakes region with our guided bus tour. This thoughtfully planned trip offers a wonderful opportunity to unwind, connect with nature, and make lasting memories together.

Tour Itinerary

9:45 am – Meet at Mildura Wharf

Start your day at the picturesque Mildura Wharf, where there is ample parking available for your convenience. Gather with fellow participants and friendly guides before boarding our comfortable tour bus.

10:45 am – Explore Lake Hattah

Our journey takes us to the tranquil Lake Hattah, where you’ll enjoy a leisurely walk along the lake’s edge. Take in the serene surroundings and view the historic canoe scar tree. Keep your eyes peeled for the possibility of spotting emu chicks in their natural habitat.

12:00 pm – BBQ Lunch at Lake Hattah Picnic Spot

Indulge in an early BBQ lunch at the scenic Lake Hattah picnic area. Savour a delicious meal, including provisions to make your own tea and coffee. The relaxing setting and delightful meal offer a perfect chance to relax, share stories, and enjoy each other’s company.

1:15 pm – Return to Mildura Wharf

After a satisfying lunch, we’ll begin our return journey, arriving back at Mildura Wharf by 2:00 pm. This gentle and fulfilling journey ensures you return home feeling refreshed and content.

What to Bring

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable day, please bring a water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather. All other essentials, including morning tea, lunch, and refreshments, will be provided.
