A Stroll Through the Gardens
Join us for a leisurely stroll through the Garden for the Future, a contemporary botanic garden experience that showcases a diverse and engaging landscape. Opened in 2018, the garden features:
The Fun and Fantasy Garden – A playful and interactive space
The Around Australia Garden – Highlighting native plants from across the country
The Around the World Garden – Showcasing plant species from different continents
This peaceful wander will be followed by morning tea at Omari Café, a hidden oasis within the gardens. Omari offers exceptional coffee, delicious food, and a serene atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax and connect.
About the Bendigo Botanic Gardens
Established in 1857, the Bendigo Botanic Gardens is one of regional Victoria’s earliest botanic gardens and is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. The gardens are a much-loved community space, known for their lush green landscapes, historic trees, and inviting picnic areas. The Garden for the Future is a more recent addition, designed to provide a dynamic and evolving botanical experience for visitors of all ages.
This event is open to people of all abilities and is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature, fresh air, and good company in a supportive environment.
