Mildura Garden Morning Tea – April

  • Mildura, VIC, 3500 Australia (map)

Join Us for a Relaxing Morning in a Beautiful Garden Setting

We warmly invite you and your loved ones to join us for a peaceful morning designed especially for people living with dementia and their carers. This gathering offers a welcoming environment to relax, connect, and enjoy light, engaging activities in a tranquil, garden-style setting.

Start Your Day at 10am

Our morning begins at 10am on a shaded verandah, where you’ll find a comfortable and accessible space to settle in. Enjoy a freshly brewed coffee or tea from a mobile coffee van, along with a light morning tea – provided as part of the GreenConnect Dementia Respite project.

The venue provides a calming atmosphere to unwind, connect with others, and appreciate the surrounding natural beauty.

What to Bring

To ensure your comfort throughout the morning, please bring your own water bottle and a hat, especially if the weather is warm.

A Gentle and Enjoyable Experience

This event is an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing and engaging morning in a supportive, inclusive setting. Whether you’d prefer to sip a cuppa and chat, take in the peaceful surroundings, or join in light activities, you’re welcome to participate in whatever way feels best for you.

About the Venue

Our gathering takes place in a historical garden precinct maintained by Mildura Rural City Council, set on the banks of the mighty Murray River. Once a key part of the region’s early development, the site now serves as a community space that celebrates heritage and provides a scenic venue for local events and gatherings.

Featuring reconstructed historical buildings, a rose garden, and interpretive displays, the venue offers visitors a gentle glimpse into the past while fostering connection in the present – all within a peaceful riverside setting.
